LS SKY RULES

The following rules and regulations apply only when the LS is doing SKY and are in Addition to the standard Chat LSes rules/Regulations
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

General Rules:

*IF YOU ARE GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT DROPS/BIDS/ETC THEN DO NOT APPLY!!

*All times listed shall be for GMT -5 (U.S. Eastern) time zone.

*Our Sky runs will normally start as close to 9:00 PM EST as possible. and they will be normally held on Saturdays.
(this means 8:30PM CST, 7:30PM MST and 6:30PM PST)

*Application to POC LS for sky means you are dedicating your character to this LS during the event times listed. We do not alternate our times therefore missing an event to party, do a mission, do BC/KS NMs etc etc is not permitted and may result in a deduction of points and/or removal from the LS.
**Any member that must miss an event must notify a sack or Runleader as to the nature of the absence.

*A "RunLeader" is designated to handle the bids, item lotting, attendance keeping, and gathering of members prior to any Sky events. The RunLeader for each run will be announced BOTH in /party and /linkshell prior to the event. The Runleader is generally a sack in the LS; however, there can be exceptions when needed.

*The RunLeader will handle any disputes that may arrise. To include arguing, questioning of bids etc.

*To be deemed and LS Event at LEAST 1 sack must be present and an announcement must be made in /Linkshell or /lsmes informing all members.

*LS Events MUST only contain LS members and/or players that have been previously cleared to help/attend prior to the event. all members MUST have our linkshell equipped during the event.

*Members who attend "Extra Credit" nights will also obtain additional point(s) for their time based on the following:
1. If stones, gems, waters etc are obtained, then points will be awarded at the current rates.
2. If no items are obtained then points will be awarded at 1 point per hour.
*this only applies to officially deemed "Extra Credit" nights , and must still have a sack present.

*All Triggers/LS LOT items belong to the RealmOfChoas ComfortablyNumb Linkshell and may be sold traded or used in any matter deemed necessary by the Leaders. This will only be done if we have an overabundance of 1 Trigger/Seal or if the LS funds need to be replenished by doing such.

*If a person must go Away From Keyboard (AFK) during an Event they MUST state this in BOTH /party and /linkshell. They must also allow notice of their return. (This saves both time and potential exp loss during an event).

*Friendly Competition between other LSes is part of the game. There will be times when another LS will out claim us. When this happens there will be NO badgering of the other LS.

*Any member may request to go "Inactive" at any time. Inactive is when a member has real life issues or just wishes to "Take a Break" from Sky. When this is done the member MUST notify any sack either on the website or ingame. When a member chooses to go inactive that person will not gain or lose any points. Any player returning from being Inactive must notify a sack either thru the website or ingame. Inactive has a maximum time of 60 days.

*If a member misses all events for 30 days then that person will be placed on an Inactive list. If the member fails to return within 60 days then the member will be removed from our Sky list and all points will be forfeit.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Section I: Points/Pointlosses

1. Points are ONLY awarded when the invested time is deemed an LS Event. Farming triggers outside of designated LS events result in 0 (Zero)points awarded.

2. Points are awarded upon obtaining items/triggers needed and/or participation during LS Events and NOT by the hour. Points are awarded to everyone within the Party and/or Alliance at the time of the drop.
*Example: 1 alliance - Party A farming water and Party B farming Diorites, a Water drops but not a Diorite. Everyone within the Alliance will receive 1 point

3. Points are awarded only if the target item drops and generally as follows:
Farming Diorites, Waters 3 Point
Farming Stones, Gems, Illi, Olla 2 Point
Successfully Defeating any of the Gods 2 Points
Successfully Defeating Kirin. 5 Points

4. Points are also awarded even if a member must "Sit out" during a trigger or God due to over populance. If you are there and available you will get points.

5. Points are awarded at the END of each run. Any points earned during a particular run can not be used until the next run.

6. Points can be deducted for violating any of the rules set forth and will be deducted in an amount appropiate to the misconduct.

7. Points are deducted immediately after obtaining an item that has been bidded on.

8. Any member continuing an arguement, rant/rave session or any other major disruption after being told to "STOP" by the Runleader will lose 1 point per incident per event.
examples:
*Player A starts and arguement and is told to "stop" and does stop. No points loss.
*Player B starts and arguement at Genbu, continues to argue After being told to "stop" loses 1 point, Player B starts another arguement at Suzaku and continues again after being told to "stop" an additional point is lost. For a total loss of 2 points.

9. Any member directly disobeying a direct order from a RunLeader or Sack shall be deducted 1 point per incident.
*If a member has notified a sack or stated openly that they are AFK, BRB etc. will not be penalized.
*The Runleader and/or Sacks in this LS have been doing sky for a very long time and know what jobs are needed for certain NMs. Disobeying can lead to wipes, unnecessary deaths etc. and will not be tolerated.

10. Points are NON-Transferable between seperate accounts. Points CAN be transferred or accrued between 2 characters on the SAME account only. This can ONLY be done IF the player notifies the current RunLeader PRIOR TO changing characters. This will only be allowed IF the Player has a needed job on another character on the same account.
Example PlayerA1 has NIN but PlayerA2 has PLD, the LS needs a PLD. At that point the RunLeader is notified and PlayerA1 changes to A2. At this time any points accumulated by A2 are awarded to either A1 OR A2(If A2 is registered with the LS) depending on the agreement between PlayerA1 and the Runleader.

11. If a member leaves the Linkshell either of their own accord or removed by a sack all of that members current points are lost.

12. Any disputes or questioning of points must be done PRIOR to the next scheduled event. Points will NOT be readded, questioned or changed during any scheduled LS event. It is the members responsibility to check on his/her own points, and bring any disputes to the Runleader's attention.

13. the maximum amount of points is currently set at 200.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Section II: Jobs and Support(Sub) Jobs

1. Any member that has recently raised a job to at least level 73 must notify a sack for verification of the job level if that member intends to lot any sky drops to be used on this job.

2. Support Jobs are a very important part in any end game situation, therefore we would perfer it if the following jobs had the appropiate support jobs. This is just an idea of what support jobs we prefer for each main job.
*Not having all the appropiate support jobs does not mean we will deny your application but it could slow down the process.

Main Job Support job(s)
Paladin...........WAR, NIN, DNC
Ninja..............WAR, DRK, DNC
Red Mage........WHM, BLM, DRK, NIN

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Section III: Bids

This is a "Sealed Bid" system, we have opted for this system so that people can NOT go back and "Up" their bids just before a run in an attempt to outbid the current item leader.

Item Bids are ONLY taken at the time of the God Pop and only by the RunLeader.

1. To be allowed to bid a member must have attended at least 2 of the prior 3 sky events. This includes farming, gods or Kirin. Certain trends could also result in a loss of bidding rights (i.e. a person that only seems to show for gods or kirin but not to farm will not be allowed to bid.)

2. Bids are taken PRIOR to each specific god being popped, and are sent to the designated RunLeader in /tell. All bidding information will be announced by the Run Leader BOTH in LS and Party chat.
**example:
Runleader "Genbu's Shield: send all bids to XXX"
Player A "/tell XXX I bid 5 points Genbu's Shield"
Player B "/tell XXX I bid 7 points Genbu's Shield"
RunLeader "Any other bids for Genbu's Shield?"
RunLeader "Bidding is now closed for Genbu's Shield: Congrats Player B if it drops"

3. Members may also proxy bid. This means that when an item is being bid a member may state "minimum or max +1" or "Minimum or highest +3" etc. This means that the player is wishing to add "X" point(s) over the max. bid provided the member has the points to cover this bid. If 2 or more members use the same proxy bid then a rebid will be taken w/o proxy bids being allowed.

4. The Linkshell is NOT responsible for errors or missent /tells during bidding. If you accidentally do your bid in /party or /linkshell where everyone can see it and you get outbid there shall be NO recourse. You may however resubmit the same or higher bid in /tell prior to bid closing.

5. Any LS member currently in good standing may bid points on an item provided that the member has the job(s) and the appropiate level to use/equip the item.

6. Bidding an item does NOT guarantee you will get the item. (points are only a way of keeping track of who has priority on a particular item).

7. The Leaders have the right to deny any bid that is considered to be greedy.
***example 1: Player A already owns a kirin's osode and bids 70 points on it, Player B has never had a K.O. and bids 50 points- Player A's bid will be retracted by the leaders and Player B will obtain the K.O.)
***Example 2: Player A already has an NQ cursed item and is bidding points to obtain a 2nd (second) abjuration to get the HQ version (Player A's bid will be retracted by the Leaders).

8. Minimum point bids. (These are current minimum bids and are subject to change)
1. Abjurations from Regular Gods - 5 points
2. Genbu's Kubato - 10 points
3. Seiryu's Kote - 10 points
4. Suzaku's Sune-Ate - 10 points
5. Byakko's Haidate - 50 points
Kirin's items do cost a little more in points due to the amount of effort required to obtain these items.
6. Kirin's Pole - 10 points
7. Kirin's osode - 50 points
8. Abjurations from Kirin - 10 points
**NOTE Kirin's Pole and Kirin's Osode will be lotted on by the RunLeader or designated Sack and will be distributed AFTER all other treasure is sorted.
**NOTE A member may only ever obtain 1 Kirin's Osode and 1 Kirin's Pole during his/her tenure with the Linkshell. (All K.O.s and K.P.s are recorded for this purpose.
**NOTE in the event there is no qualified bidder on the Kirin's Osode or Kirin's Pole they will be lotted on and sold by the LS.

9. Members with 200 (capped) points.
9a: If 2 or more members have maximum points (200) and all bid their max. points on an item a /random will be done BEFORE the god is popped to determine which member may lot if the item drops (Highest /random wins).
9b: Members with 200 (capped) points may choose 1 (one) item to spend all 200 points on. The member MUST use all 200 points. That member will be placed on a "Choice List" in order. To retain your current place on the list, the member must not drop below the 200 point cap at the end of any event. Doing so will remove the member from the "Choice list". The member may be readded to the bottom of the list upon reobtaining the 200 point cap.

few notes on this rule:
*The member must have met the attendance requirement.
*The member must use ALL 200 points on the item.
*The member may bid other items and retain their position on the list provided that at the END of the run the members points did not drop under 200 points. (i.e. member bids 5 points and gets and item at gods, stays for all 4 gods and obtains 8 points, this member would still be over 200 points at the end of the run so would still retain his/her "Choice List" place)
*The member would lose his/her position by using points to have the LS purchace a cursed item and this purchase caused the member to drop under 200 points.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Section IV: Lotting

1. NO lots are cast on ANY items until told to do so by the current RunLeader.

2A. If you are NOT the winning bidder on and item then do NOT attempt to lot on the item. IF you attempt to lot an item that you were not told to lot you WILL be booted from the Party/Alliance and WILL be deducted points!!
2B. Due to lag, gameplay etc. we do understand mislotting. When this happens simply change your "Cast Lot" to "Pass" and notify the RunLeader of your mistake. This will NOT be counted against you in any way.

3. A member may only lot on 1 (one) item per god. If a member has a winning bid on and item that member may NOT submit another bid for another item. The only way a member may obtain more than 1 item per God is if an item goes "freelot", in this case any member may lot on freelot items.

4. If you are not obtaining any items on the current drop please "Pass" items as quickly as possible. This will save time and speed up the transition to the next area/God.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Section V: Membership/Attendance

1. Acceptance to POC LS is a dedication to our LS for sky. We have set times that we do events and are easily planned around. If you applied to do sky with RoC LS then you must show to our sky events at the designated times.

2. If a member is logged into FFXI during our sky times then that member should be in sky with the LS. Any member that is caught doing sky or other events during POC LSs designated sky times could be subject to discussions, point losses, and possible removal from the LS.

3. Any member that continually only shows up when a god/etc is popped just to obtain a particular item he/she wants, then leaves may have their bids Revoked by the RunLeader. If this happens the RunLeader will notify that person in /tell of the decision. This LS is about helping each other and NOT only about personal gain!

4. Any member wishing to participate in Sky must post on the website OR /tell a Sack ingame prior to joining in a Sky Event.

5. Attendance is taken at the beginning of each Event and points are awarded at the End of the Event and will be tracked by the RunLeader.

6. Any member who is absent for more than 30 days will be placed on the inactive list. Members on the inactive list will not be able to bid any items until he/she and contacted Clawhaven or Asthesis ingame or through PM on the POC site and has their character reinstated to the active list.
Any member who is absent for more than 60 days will be removed from the inactive list and all points forfeit.
*Exceptions to this rule is if the member contacts either Asthesis or Clawhaven within the game or sending a PM through the POC site and explain the reason(s) for the extended absenses PRIOR to the 60 day mark. i.e. Deployment of military, Relocation, Family/Real Life issues, Account payment issues etc etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Section VI: Abjurations

1. The LS currently buys cursed items for abjurations obtained only during POC LS Events and obtained by the usage of points. Any Abj. that is obtained off of a Freelot is the responsibility of the obtainer and not the LS. This only applies to Armor Abj. and NOT cursed soup etc.

2. The buying of Cursed items is based on a point/gil basis. These points are deducted IN ADDITION TO the points spent to bid the item. Currently the LS pays 20,000gil/point (i.e. a cursed item costing 40,000 gil will cost the member and additional 2 points). **This payout may increase as the LS fund grows**

3. In some cases the LS will buy -1 (HQ) cursed items for members. This is a premium service that we are offering, and is dependant on several factors to include - item costs/LS funds/points etc.
**For the LS to buy HQ cursed items it will either cost additional points OR the player may pay the LS the difference in price between the HQ and NQ.
**The maximum the LS will pay is upto 1 million gil for a -1 (HQ) cursed item.
